The annual Frontier Wars March will be held in Canberra, Australia on Anzac Day, 25 April 2025. The march is held to remind Australians and the world that First Nations defended Country from British colonisation from January 1788 when the First Fleet arrived in the convict colony of New South Wales from England.

The Australian War Memorial (AWM) continues to reject calls from many sectors of Australian society for the AWM to commemorate Australia’s frontier wars in dedicated exhibitions, as are other conflicts in which Australians, including First Nations veterans, have participated.
