Murdering Creek is on the southern side of Lake Wyeba near Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Murdering Creek was the site of a massacre of Aboriginal people in the 1860s. Historians such as Ray Kerkhove, John Windolf, Elaine Brown, Nancy Cato, Stan Tutt, Colin Monks and David Bull have all written about the massacre. In 2015 researcher, Ray Gibbons, wrote about the murders.
