A Frontier Wars wing at the Australian War Memorial would help improve the perceptions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders have of themselves, would fundamentally change the distorted perception many Australians have of our history, and would potentially change the relationship between First Peoples and other Australians.

Update 5 October 2022: Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Matt Keogh, announced at a press conference on 29 September 2022 that the Australian War Memorial would be expanding its exhibitions on frontier conflict.
